Sunday Encounter

After meeting the Skinner's family yesterday, we were invited to tag along to the 11am service at Hillsong South West campus in Campbelltown.

We experience the worship segment then celebration of the Lord's Supper prior to a guest Pastor's wife Dr Laura Koke, wife of Rob Koke from Texas, America.

Her message was focus around 3 C's, Connect, Community & Cause and was fantastic as she delivered the importance of those 3 C's.

1. Connect with God.
2. Stay in Community with others.
3. Live for a Cause bigger than yourself.

This is not our normal Sunday activity as we fellowship at either Campbelltown Uniting Church or St Andrews Anglican at Airds depending on transport.

But an unexpected role is opening up as Grandparents to their 4 children as they lived 3 doors from us in providing support to Ben & Joelle throughout the week. This is a dimension that we had not even waged in our mind.

I would like to blog further on this development but my degenerative neck & shoulder places limited computer activity.
